Do you wonder about the students you will encounter in a college classroom and how best to engage with them as a graduate instructor or teaching assistant? In this workshop, graduate instructors will consider a case study on how to engage an unmotivated student. They will also learn about the characteristics of today’s students, different types of student engagement, and how to address common issues that may arise in class. Participants will also engage in discussion with fellow graduate instructors.
Open to all graduate students, this workshop is required for the SkillCraft Level 1 Essentials Credential.
