Curriculum and Teaching Leadership (CTL) Funds support development, innovation, and leadership initiatives. These funding opportunities, supported by the Stearns Center, are centered around three foci each of which may be applied to various topics.
Currently, we offer the following CTL Funds:
- High Impact Projects provide funding to teams of faculty involved in a high-impact teaching and learning project of their choosing.
- Faculty Associates partner with a Stearns Center Educational Developer to facilitate faculty development opportunities or support Stearns Center Educational Developer special projects.
- Faculty Innovation Cohorts support faculty in exploring and implementing new approaches to teaching through structured, cohort-based programs guided by the Stearns Center.
*We welcome proposals from all George Mason University faculty across departments, programs, colleges, and schools. Faculty Associates may not apply for other CTL Fund opportunities during their appointment with the Stearns Center.
