10th Annual Conference Theme:
“Small Changes, Big Impact: 10 Years of ITL”
Join us for a day of 30+ inspiring conference sessions (led by Mason instructors and our keynote speaker) that showcase strategies and tips to support student learning in and out of the classroom. Faculty from all ranks/disciplines, graduate students, and members of support offices are welcome. For this year’s theme, we invite members of the Mason community to reflect on small changes instructors can make to various aspects of their teaching practice to improve student learning outcomes and the Mason student experience. Additionally, as we celebrate the 10th anniversary of ITL, we seek to highlight how the previous 9 years of ITL conference experiences and speaker ideas have impacted instructors, students and/or inspired instructors to experiment with new teaching strategies. Have a memory or insight into the next 10 years to share? Let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org
SEEKING VOLUNTEERS: Volunteers make this conference the great event it is, please consider serving as a volunteer at the conference on Sept. 14th. We are currently seeking faculty, staff, or graduate students to “host” the conference breakout sessions to help ensure that sessions run smoothly. We also seek volunteers to help welcome participants by leading informal conversation at breakfast tables and to help usher participants for the keynote address. If interested, please complete our volunteer application form.
SEEKING QUICK TEACHING TIPS: Not all teaching ideas fit in a session format. We are seeking teaching tips or strategies that can be explained in less than a minute to share with participants. If you have one to share, please complete our reviewer 1-Minute Teaching Tip form.
