Are you a graduate instructor teaching for the first time? Would you like to learn how to plan your course to enhance student learning in a way that balances your workload? Join us for Instructional Planning Bootcamp for Graduate Instructors, where you will develop everything you need for a week of instruction or a series of trainings. In Part 1 of 2, you will learn how to design an assignment or activity using the Transparent Assignment Design framework as well as a rubric to evaluate performance or gauge impact.
The bootcamp is made up of two 2-hour Zoom meetings and several hours of asynchronous work for a total of 10 hours of professional development. Upon completion, participants are eligible to earn the SkillCraft Level 2 Competencies credential. Completion of SkillCraft Level 1 workshops is not required. Those who have already earned the Level 1 Teaching Essentials Credential are eligible for the Pathway Credential with the completion of the bootcamp.
