The Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program documents instructional development around teaching through multiple levels of certification. It helps faculty demonstrate continuous professional development and the intentional refinement of teaching practices that enhance student learning. Through regularly offered workshops, mini courses and bootcamps, instructors can gain credentials in one semester. Offerings include one-hour standalone workshops, four-workshop clusters and short but intense bootcamps and mini-courses. CPD features synchronous and asynchronous opportunities.
CPD is open to all instructors, including graduate students who are instructors of record and adjunct faculty. Participants can include their credentials in annual reviews and retention and promotion materials.
