Is Your Online Course Ready to Go?
There are 3 main areas of Online Course Readiness as seen below:
Syllabus | Syllabus is fully complete with detailed information about course schedule, assignment & grading, course materials, technology requirements, course & university policies. |
Course Navigation & Presentation | The course structure and tools are completely set up in Blackboard. All course content is posted and ready. |
Accessibility | The course is fully accessible. The course employs accessible materials (e.g., documents, images, and videos) and a variety of instructional methods (i.e., to address different learning styles). |
The Online Course Readiness Checklist represents an inventory of important elements of an online course, based on national standards of best practice and instructional design principles.
As an instructor, you have the flexibility of where & how to include these items within your online course.
