Hoping to start the semester off with some writing momentum? Sign up for the Faculty Writing Retreat running Wednesday, January 7th & Thursday, January 8th, 2026. The retreat will run from 8:30am-4:00pm both days. It will be hosted both in-person and online. For those who participate in-person, free lunch, coffee, and snacks will be provided both days.

This two-day event—co-sponsored by the Office of Faculty Affairs and Development and Writing Across the Curriculum—offers an active approach to uninterrupted writing time, a chance to learn from our panelists, and a supportive and collegial community of peers to boost your writing productivity. Participants work on a variety of research and creative projects at all stages of completion. Post-docs and graduate students are welcome! Please share this event with any colleagues who might be interested in attending. Visit the Faculty Affairs website to learn more!

The event will take place on Zoom and in-person in Horizon Hall rooms 2008 & 2009. Please come with your laptops fully charged.
