Stearns Center for Teaching and Learning

Teaching with AI Credential

Artificial intelligence tools are reshaping how our students learn, write, problem-solve, and create.

The Stearns Center’s Teaching with AI resources offer all instructors a practical, research-informed foundation as they navigate the choices around the use of AI in their courses. As instructors grapple with a fast-changing set of tools, ethical questions, learning opportunities, and student behaviors, they can benefit from support in identifying key values, weighing options and concerns, and deliberately choosing pathways forward.

All GMU instructors are welcome at any event. Our credentialing program begins with our Level One credential, which involves completing five workshops and submitting a completion form. Additional options will be offered here as they become available. Communities or academic units who are interested in tailored workshops or series for their members should contact their Stearns Center liaison.
