Catchbox Throwable Microphone — Quick Guide
Purpose
- Use a Catchbox to encourage class participation and engage students.
- Improves audio quality for in-room recordings and remote participants.
Safety & Handling
- Throw the Catchbox underhand and only for short distances (less than 5 meters).
- Make sure the recipient and nearby students are ready before you toss it.
- Watch for hazards such as laptops, other devices, and water bottles.
Using the Catchbox
- Speak close to the foam cap—about 8 inches (20 cm) is optimal.
- When you’re finished, place the Catchbox back on its magnetic charging base.
- Adjust Catchbox volume from the instructor touch panel.
